    St. Paul’s Church, Fish Creek erected and opened for worship with the Rev. E. Paske Smith presiding.

  • September 27, 1885

    The first regular service was held and the offertory totaled $17.30

  • January 10, 1886

    First service of Holy Communion with 7 people in attendance.

  • April 18, 1886

    First baptisms: Mary Ethel Eleanor, Hermione Lloyd and Irene Julia Daphne Shaw

  • May 9, 1886

    First funeral service and internment for Kate McDonald Gibb

  • April 27, 1887

    First wedding for William Henry Goodwin and Rosa Belle Watson

  • Summer, 1889

    Interior of church completed

    St. Paul’s is designated as a Registered Historic Resource

    Formally designated as an Alberta Provincial Historic Resource
